The community events really helped me when I was first coming out. I met lots of amazing friends here and learned a lot about myself in this safe and welcoming space. I highly reccommend everyone check it out!

This Place Was Perfect. I heard about this place thru both of my councelors & i went in search of resources as to Doctors, & shelters, me being a somewhat young LGBTQ adult in my mid twenties. I felt comfortable the moment i walked in the door. i waited like 2 minutes and was quickly helped by a Man named Vaan, this guy was The Greatest. He literally sat down 1 on 1 w/me, in our own room for like an hour and got to know me and my situation. i had been feeling really hopeless after spending like 100's of hr's over months searching for trans doctors/therapists/who'd also accept WA apple medicaid. anyways he was really kind. after he refered me to a doctor whom he told me was highly qualified. and educated with trans. he told me to walk about the "rainbow center" just to check it out and it was way cool. they had a Pool Table. and they had like this Big FlatScreen with like every Disney movie. They had a nice little Library and they had a spot to draw, they had a kitchen with a stove fridge and dining area. and then they had like afew couches to just chill. i havent been yet but i got a calander and it had times they held groups, and address' for meets, for like coffee and such with others in the trans community. It really felt like a Safe Place. i definatly recommend going here if you have questions on LGBTQ or transitioning, or if ur feeling discouraged. because these ppl Can help.* Thanxs !!

Tell her not to give up... my family took years to accept me as Bonnie, some parents just don't understand, tell her not to be obvious in front of her parents, but when she's away, to just be herself, and let things happen.... but to always be true to yourself.... family doesn't have to be blood, she mite have to move out to become herself, sometimes you must move away so our blood family will learn to accept you... trust me, they will miss you, and want to see you eventually... took my family over 5years to accept who I am.
