I had a plumber come out to my house to fix some piping in my house, but first I needed the water company to mark and shut off the water main. Everything was fine and normal up until this point. After the plumber was finished, and water was turned back on I received correspondence from Suez stating that they needed to check my meter because they weren't getting correct readings. A technician came out and looked at the meter and said that the meter was working fine, there was just an issue relaying the readings from the meter to the headquarters office. It was actually notated on my account at Suez that the technician found the meter to be operating as normal. I know this because of customer service provider was reading notes on my account out loud and quickly stopped herself. Then I got rebuild for the past year because of what they thought were meter reading errors, and I called in for about 3 or 4 months asking to talk to a manager, but nobody would put me through to one so I could explain the whole situation because I didn't want to pay $170 or so for no reason because they had a reading issue. A customer service provider went as far as to say that they don't really have a manager per se. Which anybody in customer service reports to somebody so that was total bs. eventually I just paid the whole bill off gradually and then I started overpaying just to make them issue me a credit because I could. Terrible customer service and if that's the case with their customer service I question who manages the customer service department.

Hello, well I must say I’ve reviewed the reviews and have to give this company a 5 star after speaking to one person. Ms. Rice. I had to go in-person after customer service reps kept saying I’ll tell someone about your issue. One Rep would say someone was going to call you back and another would say no one is going to call you back. Well no body called back till I drove to Wilmington and was able to access a phone in the lobby because the office is closed to the public. I finally got a very nice concerned employee named, Ms. Rice. She listened carefully and I could tell she really was taking notes. We’ll later that day, after 2 days of nothing, I finally got a call from Hector. He also kept his word that the crew would be here today. Yes, they came out to repair a broken water service line that had gallons of water bubbling up in front on my house causing an issue navigating around my property. So…. Bottom line customer service might have passed on the message but, Ms. Rice gets things ✅ DONE!!!!!

They requested I participate in a sprinkler system research project and involved a new water saving meter. It was supposed to be all summer long and I would get regular reports. I was told when signed up my sprinkler company would do the install. Nothing was as stated. The unit finally got installed after the summer was over and no test, no data, nothing but a horrible metering system and I would never have done this since it was nothing but a problem. My old meter would be great to have back. The company took no responsibility

Questions & Answers

I called to report a water outage and got the message AFTER my call was automatically answered :"We're sorry, your call cannot be completed from the phone you are using". This was a Suez message and not the telephone company. Stone Bullxxxx!

I don't know for sure but just to take a guess I would think that is due to the upgrade they are doing I know that doesn't help your problem sorry I didn't have a better answer for you

Hi; Yesterday there was a water main break that affected nearby neighborhoods. Some had no water and when the water came back on it was borwn. Does this mean my refrigerator ice maker may have made ice with the tainted water?

Yes yes yes cycle the water

Water coming from faucets and in toilet is brown. I guess they flushed the pipes outside, but what is the quickest way to fix it in my house? I have guests coming for brunch!

Turn on a cold water faucet and let it run until the water clears up. If you have a laundry sink that would be the preferred faucet to use. Once that clears up you'll want to run the rest of the faucets and flush toilets to clear the other water pipes in the house.
