Clean store, no customers and they will not exchange cable boxes. I was told that you can exchange a defective cable box, but they will not allow it at this location.

No, I tried to do this myself just yesterday and was directed to go to the main optimum local office in Hauppauge for hardware related exchanges

If they feel like it on the day you go they will help you. But if they aren't in a good mood they will give you nothing but an attitude and tell you they can't help you with anything. This place told me I wasn't allowed to bring my ten year old daughter inside the store with me demanding I leave her outside all alone. I'm a single father I told them that they didn't care. I made a big deal about it and when I got in there they were mad at me for making a big deal about someone telling me to leave my young child in front of a bulking alone by herself. So they refused to help me with anything. When I asked for a manager they told me they don't have management there or supervisors they are all in charge. Then asked me to leave cause my daughter started crying and they said it was "causing a scene." don't go there. I mailed mine in they got it in 24 hours and I was able to track it.
