Wait time is usually very short and the dentist is very polite and professional. In addition, I really appreciate the dentist call personally to check on my kid a day after an extraction.

Dr. Tamar is wonderful! It took a few different dentists for my kids until we finally found her practice, and I'm so glad we did! She and her staff are both considerate and patient when it comes to working with my children, especially with my youngest who experiences anxiety. If you're looking for a thorough doctor who explains everything to not just you, but makes your child feel comfortable as well, both before and after the procedure, this is your place!

Dr. Tamar is amazing ! I brought my 6 year old son who had bad cavities and she was very caring and patient with him. She was making him feel comfortable by talking to him and telling him stories the whole time. Highly recommend !

Call our office! At Ridgewood Valley Pediatric Dentistry, we understand that situations out of your control may arise and require immediate attention. We do our best to work with our patients in emergency situations to offer treatment as soon as possible. You can rest assured that your child's oral health is in the best of hands at our office.
We do our best to make sure that every child who steps into our office feels at ease with the care they will receive. Options such as sedation dentistry are available for those who need a little extra assistance to have a stress-free and comfortable experience.
If your child's thumb or finger sucking habit is still present when the permanent teeth begin to come in, your child is at a higher risk of developing a bad bite. By the age of five or six years, you need to constructively and gently help your child stop the habit. It’s also a good idea to have a comprehensive evaluation at this time. We can assess if there are any habit related alterations to the alignment of your child's teeth or jaws, or if it is affecting their speech or swallowing patterns. We can also discuss habit control strategies with you, as well as follow your child's bite and facial development as they grow. If interceptive appliances or corrective orthodontic care are recommended, the timetable and best options in care will be explained in complete detail.
