Stayed 2 nights, there for stressful reasons, including a loved one's medical emergency. So, little things that wouldn't have been issues on their own, or even a couple of things, started adding up, and I left not the happiest of guests. HOWEVER after speaking with Vincent, the hotel's manager, I can say that he was very very responsive and took care of everything. I can highly recommend this hotel. One word of caution though, do NOT book through Expedia. There are interesting charges that show up that are not generated by the property. THAT was fun. 😕

Outside of the drifters enjoying the continental breakfast, it was a very nice stay. Rooms were very nice & clean. Bathroom was nice. Hotel halls & common area was very clean. Hotel employees were friendly & courteous. A quick Uber ride to downtown. Will definitely stay again.

My stay here was neither bad nor good. It was just okay. It's a newer hotel which in essence makes it "nice" however, it is lacking in cleanliness all around and is becoming dingy rather quickly even in the common areas and elevator. A thorough wipe down and a little attention would do this place a lot of good. Our room was not up to par as far as cleanliness when we got there either. Although the bed had been made with clean sheets and there were new towels, no surfaces had been wiped down, the TV had hand prints all over it, there was food under the bed, the carpets obviously not vacuumed and skid marks in the toilet reminiscent of those left by Apollo 11 during takeoff. The staff was neither inviting or cold, but seemed to be going through the motions. Water pressure at 8am on a Sunday was down to a trickle while showering. Some pros on the otherhand is that it was quiet at night, the bed and pillows were comfortable and it's an easy drive/Uber to both Union Station and the Power and Light District.

We are traveling on military orders for my husband's change of duty station from the East Coast to Colorado. Five days of driving and considered booking all accommodations under La Quinta assuming it's all pet friendly. But- be aware that they are not pet-friendly here. Although they offered if we can pay $100 for the pet fee and they may allow it. We refused because that's paying more than the room. Instead, they offered and called another La Quinta (North Kansas City) and said they have transferred us for a room there. The biggest regret is having the confidence that we were in good hands. Apparently, they gave us to the most ghetto La Quinta in North Kansas. People there are not even guest anymore but residents and looks almost like a shelter for the homeless. Considering we have been driving for days now and under official military orders, it was very frustrating. Our family didn't feel safe. What's even more frustrating is that just because we opted not to pay an additional $100 to be accommodated, they just handed us over to the most uncomfortable "recommended" place instead. We could've refused their assistance but considering how tired we are, we trusted them in good faith. Never again. I'm posting this for all military families on official orders to just be aware and save time especially if you have a pet with you.

There is room, just give the hotel a heads up. I doubt you need to be told this, just a general FYI is all.
