The Med Station

The med station was my primary as of yesterday I switched. I was in two months ago, I had a physical blood work etc. I was running very low on a medication I needed refilled. I called two days ago to refill was put on hold for 8 minutes no answer- called the following morning -no answer- called in the afternoon asked for refill ( not a controlled substance) my previous dr auto refilled with no issues. Told me I have to come in - so they can collect copay obviously- let them know I had about two days left and couldn’t make it in before I ran out. They said no- I asked for the dr to call me so I could atleast be prescribed enough for a week until I could make it in. Well I received a call back but from the receptionist I told them I requested to speak to dr feliciano( my primary ) as I had a question about the medication- she told me she’s not calling me that i have to come in - this place is probably the most negligent, greedy, and unprofessional medical place I have ever experienced specifically dr feliciano - I immediately changed my primary and found a MUCH better doctor. A doctor who’s too arrogant and money hungry to have a two minute phone call about a prescription concern is bottom of the barrel.

would gave 0 if I can, went there for immigration exam. told it cost $150 plus the required shots which was a reasonable price. I asked specific if that's all I need to pay, cuz there is no insurance covered and all paid out of pocket. they said yes that's all the cost, and during the exam, the doctor didn't mention additional charge about the blood work. However, after all gets done, received bill with amount of $322 from a lab. so angry about the hidden bill, won't recommend to anyone.

This place is terrible!! Today, at 6pm - I walked into this so called “urgent care facility” with my son, who was just bit by a dog and was bleeding- the nurse said they are not taking anymore patients- and rejected us! All I can say is this place could possibly be the worst urgent care in the entire US. The worst humans to be in medical care and it’s a shame Google doesn’t allow for zero star reviews Too bad people seeking an urgent care will most likely not have the time to read reviews. But if you do…. Do yourself a favor and just go to the nearby Glen Cove Hospital.

This place has the most wonderful staff! I was immediately warmly greeted by the entire front desk staff as I walked in, didn't wait more than a moment to be seen, and was treated with care and compassion throughout my visit. Whitney (NP who I saw) was amazing, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease about being in a medical office. After getting my covid booster, I even found myself talking and laughing with some of the staff before departing. Covid testing here was also a smooth and seamless process - just be sure to call ahead for an appointment. I highly recommend this Med Station to anyone on LI!
