I enjoy going to this library. Access to so many types of media and other information resources. Well organized and well maintained facilities. Even the rest room usually looks and smells very clean except when someone is taking care of business. Just Kidding. I enjoy this place. Love the many reading areas and desks to relax or get things accomplished. I also feel safe here. I often get up to stretch, walk around, use restroom, and leave my stuff on the desktop without worrying about theft. I have been going there for almost a decade without an incident. Very comfortable place to study or learn.

Hi Bill! If you have a Pierce County Library card, you can access e-books and audiobooks right from your device. You can also request physical books from our catalog at www.piercecountylibrary.org and schedule a Library Curbside appointment when your selections are ready. With Library Curbside, you can drive to your library and our staff will bring your books out to you. Curbside services are closed today due the unhealthy air quality but will resume soon. Please watch our website for updates.

Hi Susan. The Friends of the Libraries are not accepting donations at this time, and we don't expect this to change for quite some time. Please watch our website in the coming months for any updates. Pop-up Little Free Libraries and Goodwill are taking donations if you can't hold onto your items until the Friends can take donations again.

Due to dangerous weather and road conditions, all Pierce County Library System locations were closed Feb. 4, 2019.
We have several books available on genealogy. If they aren't at your branch, you can place a request and we can have them delivered there. Additionally, you can use Ancestry.com free of charge from a computer in our library. We also have other online resources and genealogy classes available.
