The staff was very courteous and professional. The rooms are very spacious. However, the linen was rather dingy. I expected more from such a classy hotel. I felt that they should have had free breakfast considering the price. It was something else about Apple to go back and see if I can see the people

Beware of a hefty early check in free and liars who work the front desk! Hub called and confirmed early check-in and was told that would be fine! No mention of a $75 fee! Please note we have stayed there before and checked in early without a fee! Get to the hotel and they add the fee...I question it and say we weren't told that over the phone and the lady at the front desk rolled her eyes. I contacted corporate and Delta in Chesapeake va lied and told them they told us. Which never happened. Ridiculous! Won't be staying there ever again!

Overall our stay was good and we were satisfied. The hotel is in a great location close to the highway, well lit, & has amenities to compliment any travel goer. The staff was friendly, personable & able to accommodate our needs. Our disappointment was the lack of cleanliness of our room. A half used toilet paper roll, the refrigerator & cabinet were both so damaged & stained, things left under the bed from previous guests, etc. The gym’s mirror has a black crust-spots near the trashcan/cleaning wipes that could use an attentive eye, otherwise it’s a great a space! If it weren’t for this, our stay would have been a 5-star.

Good and bad points to this property. Great location and well-maintained. I had two basic issues which were surprising - my digital key wouldn't open the side door (no problem opening my room) and the rooms have no microwave. I called the front desk about the microwave and she seemed like I was bothering her - basically stated that she would ask but she didn't think they had one to spare. Whatever. My fault for assuming that a hotel room in 2022 had a microwave. I have to say that I recently switched to Marriott after years of being a Hilton customer because of corporate requests but I am likely going to switch back to Hilton. So far this year my experiences with Marriott are 0-2, the first hotel was so poorly kept that I just left.
