1 star is generous on my part So my name came to the top of the waitlist in March and did submit all the required information they asked for, it’s wasn’t easy to do because their sight kept re-looping my Application back to the start over and over and then got it submitted. So here I am clueless and I’ve been calling and calling and going on 3 weeks now to ask questions and to get some information. I don’t understand why when you call it states they’d get back to you in 1 business day and fashionable time. Not only can I not get ahold of any one I don’t know if I’m staying in my current apartment or if I’m giving my landlord proper notice. I just don’t know what to do at this point and it’s super frustrating because I just don’t know because of the lack of communication and information and then it says to review some information on my application and behold their was nothing to view except the same stuff that was their before. Hmmm go figure that. Thank you for getting back to me, this has been an absolutely wonderful experience, I enjoy calling you guy daily to get no where!!!!!!!!!! I understand that we are in a pandemic but we’re are also in phase 3 and yet your closed to the public, this is insane not returning anyone’s phone calls, your voicemail messages is inaccurate about what your fashionable time to call anyone back!!! Just because we’re in a pandemic isn’t ok to just brush people off. So I packed everyone in the car to meet this person to fill out more paperwork, come to find I’ve been assigned an appointment not to mention I was asked if I’d given my landlord notice. I said wait what, I asked the lady with a puzzled look on my face if I was supposed to be packed up and giving proper notice. She said yes and I said why wasn’t I made aware of any of this till now. Her response was I don’t know, I then asked her how do you not know and she said I just do the housing child tax. Here we are now going on a month and half and I still don’t have the foggiest idea about what’s going it’s he said she said type thing can’t get any straight answers from anyone.

My mother desperately needed a place to live and applied. The staff at the Bellingham Housing Authority was magnificent. They went above and beyond. They answered all our questions and made the process easy. Everyone we worked with was professional and very knowledgeable. These people really do care about the people in this community. thank you for all that you folks do and thank you for helping the low income population.
