I have only seen Dr. Schulman, a NYC leg vein specialist, twice but I can see why he is so recognized in his field. I received the foam ultrasound guided procedure and my left leg looks noticeably improved after just one visit. I will continue seeing him for “spider veins” that have been nagging me for years. His office staff is approachable and informative. His bedside manner is warm and relaxed. Dr. Schulman will follow up with a phone call the following day after your procedure. I wish I had started the process years ago!

I wish I would have met Dr. SCHULMAN 20 years ago! I have seen different drs for bulging, collapsing, and vericose veins. In the matter of a few months with dr SCHULMAN my legs never felt and looked better. He has a delicate touch and with a pinch of a needle that is the only pain I endured during my procedures. As a NYC bus operator for 23 years my legs have suffered. My legs did a complete 180 after seeing dr SCHULMAN. On top of that he is a caring , sincere and down to earth friendly Dr.He is a rare find in the medical field ! I would recommend him highly! I feel very fortunate to have met him.

Dr. Schulman is an excellent leg vein specialist located in NYC. He is personable and a good listener. He clearly explained the process and options. He didn’t push me into anything I didn't feel comfortable with. Once he knew I understood all my alternatives, he said “It’s up to you, you tell me what to do”. I am very pleased with the results and the treatment was not painful at all. His office staff treated me nicely. There is little wait time and the office is very clean. I recommend Dr. Schulman highly!

I was referred to Dr. Schulman by one of my colleagues. Being teachers, we both suffered from varicose veins from always being on our feet. I made my first appointment at the Manhasset office of the Vein and Laser Center. I was somewhat apprehensive although my friend had prepared me for what to expect. I was greeted by friendly staff members who made me feel welcomed. Dr. Schulman calmed my fears by explaining the entire process and then asking me if I had any questions to which I replied, "No"...there was nothing left to add! Their motto is "All we do is veins", but it should be "We do veins right"! If you're looking for a NYC leg vein specialist, go see Dr. Schulman. It will not be in vain!

Questions & Answers

I’m nervous due to the fact that I went to a previous doctor and my legs have been swollen since treatment I know the swelling is not a normal thing. I would like my legs to feel normal again

Hello Mina- Swelling can be from many causes and yes venous insufficiency and varicose veins are one of them. If the underlying cause is varicose veins very often treating them will help reduce swelling. It’s often worth seeing a vein specialist to determine if treatment can help.
