I had a personal online account with Metropolitan Commercial Bank for a few years, until this summer when I finally moved my banking to a different bank. For the time I was a client of theirs, the service was mediocre, the online system was super antiquated and glitch-y, and the online banking app was pretty useless. But I put up with it all because of the $0 ATM fees. The real dissatisfaction and frustration came after I closed my account. The bank kept sending checks for recurring payments I had set up prior to closing the account, which resulted in multiple bounced checks and bounced check fees. It has been 2 months that I keep trying to resolve this issue with them to no avail! Their customer service had been very useless and uninterested in helping. I keep getting the run around with “that’s so strange” and the “let me transfer you” or I just keep getting no answers when I call, combined with “full voicemail” automated messages (during business hours) and unreturned voicemail messages. All in all, terrible bank, and terrible experience.. that is unfortunately not yet over for me. Wish I could give them negative stars.

SCAM, this bank provides safe haven for online scammers and hacks. they never respond to other banks complaints and requests, I already reported them to the FBI and FTC. AVOID

So I sent a wire transfer to be placed in my Bitcoin account. So my account shows nothing. And of course nobody is open on the weekend. Crypto isn't open. They also have the worse customer service. I guess from all the rest of you. You agree also.

This is a bank that protects online crooks. Fraudulent bankers, clients, and processes. I’ve had a wire dispute going for 2 weeks that was sent here fraudulently. They can’t answer my bank, respond, nor do what’s right to refund my monies.
