Absolutely the WORST way to handle patients! I sit in my car for hours and hours waiting to have my sick kids seen. I’m supposed to keep calling back every 30mins to see if we can be seen. Every time I’m told, “we are at capacity. Call back in 30mins.” The last time I call, it’s 5:30pm and they don’t close until 7pm. I’m told they can’t see my kids at all today because the receptionist put me on hold to see if she could get my kids in together. I was literally told, “After the second caller just came in we are at capacity again and you’ll have to call at 8am tomorrow.” Are you serious MedExpress? The person beside me can pull in and call before I do or in this case call while I’m on hold and get seen before my sick kids that have been waiting for hours. This is irresponsible! I have to take my kids home without being seen or take them to the ER because MedExpress can’t manage to make a waiting list like every other doctors office in the United States! Once again, absolutely the WORST!!!!!

My family and I were traveling to Cincinnati Ohio from bluefield. Our daughter has a lot of medical conditions and she sees doctors there for them. We were going to stay in Ronald McDonald and found out they needed us all to be covid tested prior to our stay. We stopped at this Med Express on the way and to say they went above and beyond is an understatement. These women and men are overworked and they have to be exhausted, but they saw my family desperate and in need to have a place to stay and they got us in and back on the road within 30 minutes. We talked about it all the way to Ohio. When we got there she ended up being admitted and we were there all week. If they had not done that for us things would’ve been even more stressful than they already were. I just want to express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all.

Rude, they don’t care if they leave you waiting for an hour while they enjoy their lunch and gossip in the hall. Very frustrating when you are sick and don’t want to be there in the first place. Get some staff that care about the well-being of others and that are timely and efficient.

Was contacted for contact tracing by health department, have remained a symptomatic, was told to come to med express so I could return to work, med express is supposed to do covid swab but you are forced to have vitals checked so they say it’s an office visit and then billed an office visit when all you needed is the covid swab that is being provided for free in other areas! Why can they charge your insurance an unnecessary service? That is fraud! Wait times horrible almost 2 hours in parking lot in your car before being called in for “your office visit”!
