I went in to treat an ingrown toenail, the procedure was quick and easy. After bawling my eyes out preparing myself for what I thought would be unbearably painful, Dr. Castillo and staff made it as relaxing as possible. Overall, the entire staff was super helpful with a dash of humor. Thank you!

This was a eventful visit. After almost 20 years at this location was Dr Oropall, who was magnificent. He retired . I did alot of assuming on the return . My diagnosis was that my foot was fractured , Castillo never showed me an X ray and he said I was low on vitamin D. Knowing myself he was a foot DR not a fortune teller . I did not consume the 50,000 units of Vit D that he prescribed. I went to my primary the very next morning for a blood test. The results were I was slightly over on the Vitamin D. My Dr told me to get a second opinion on the foot. . I did. The other DR took 4 X-rays . Showed me every detail and said , you Do not have a fractured foot. My tendons and ligaments were strained. It’s scary to make a judgement on anything related to blood when you don’t have a tangible report in your hand ..you can’t look at an x ray or my face and say I’m low on vitamin D . It’s even scarier to visit these DR’s

It was my first time at the Bronx foot care and I was very pleased of my visit. My daughter had injured her foot and it was nearly impossible to get a last minute appointment, but we were happy when Dr Castillo offered to add us to an already busy day. His Staffs were welcoming, professional and very kind. I live over an hour away but my little girl means everything to me so seeing a podiatrist with confidence, knowledge and experience make it worth my trip. I would highly recommend that facility to anyone. Thanks again .

Dr. Castillo, Michelle, and everyone at Bronx Foot Care are awesome! Each were generous with their time, incredibly knowledgeable, and helped get me back on my feet after a bad ankle break. Dr. Castillo provided the highest quality of care and helped me find ways to safely participate in my daily activities and training while still healing. I’m so glad I found Bronx Foot Care and would recommend without hesitation!

Unfortunately we do not take metro plus. However, do not forget to stretch ice and use supportive sneakers like new balance, Brooks or Oasis

Bone Spurs in the toes ? The most conservative way is to wear wider shoes, other then that minimal incision surgery to remove the spurs
We are always happy to hear, about our patients are pleased . We will need to see the card and call the insurance , multiplan has different polices . We can check his benefits that way .
