In May 2022, I reached out to Bey and Associates for a second opinion on my car accident case. The at-fault driver who hit me had no insurance, and the insurance plan I was on did not have uninsured motorist coverage at the time. My first lawyer withdrew from my case because the at-fault driver’s insurance policy could not be located. They had Progressive search the insurance databases and they could not locate anything. All of this was stated up front with my case managers from Bey & Associates. I told them there was no insurance that would be able to settle the case and I sent them my file with the previous lawyer showing the work they did trying to locate the at-fault driver’s insurance. I wanted a second opinion to see if a lawyer would be able to help me with a lawsuit, as I’ve never experienced this before. It was at this point they should have told me they wouldn’t be able to take my case. However, they still did. It took seven months for this firm to tell me exactly what I told them and showed them from the beginning: there is no insurance they can use for a settlement. I don’t know where the communication got broken down, but it should not have taken seven months to be told something I informed my case managers at the very beginning BEFORE I was taken as a client. It only took my first lawyer a few weeks at most to inform me there was no insurance to recover from and withdraw from my case. I told Bey and Associates this fact from the very beginning and showed them my file as evidence that there was no insurance coverage they could use. But for some reason, it took them seven months to come to the same conclusion as my previous lawyer. Which again, I informed them of this before I was taken as a client. Needless to say it was a colossal waste of time and their communication was poor. I’ll need to file a lawsuit myself. But it would have been much better if I didn’t needlessly wait seven months to be told they couldn’t help.

Could take up to 45 days, ask your lawyer about deminsh value on your vehicle, dirty lawyers won't tell you if yours do or did stick with them because that would mean they want the best for you and your family
