If I could give the UW GI department a 0 stars I would. I’ve been waiting for over 3months for a GI appointment for issues that I’ve had since summer. I’ve been referred twice by my doctor and not once have I been contacted or updated on my status. Instead I have to wait 30minutes for someone to say it’s still under review. I have great insurance and can go anywhere for treatment but thought UW was the best. Thanks You UW for showing me just how mistaken I was. If I had cancer it’s be too late to do a damn thing about just because y’all are incapable of doing paperwork, scheduling appointments and just managing your department. As professional program manager I can tell you that I can do a better job with my eyes closed. One last thing patients paying for parking for treatment is outrageous and shouldn’t be something someone has to worry about when trying to receive medical treatment.

For the folks here with the good reviews can you be more specific about what your good experiences were or with . I,ve had multiple encounters with digestive health. I have never been impressed. scheduleRs are in dire need of training. I have showed up for procedures when my medication list was not reviewed, the Dr was not knowledgeable on my history of illness, it turned out I didn't react well to the anesthesia given. After I woke I asked was my anesthesia meds from a few months prior reviewed I received a shoulder shrug. (this was scary) . I have walked away from a procedure room because when I showed up the nurse had not been updated and what procedure the Dr ordered.(that's after I confirmed with the clinic days before)😤😤. They were about to perform a procedure on me that my Dr didn't order or I never agreed too. Personnel and office training is missing. Alot of employees at UWMC do not feel accountable to no one. I HOPING FROM A RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENT.

Yes. Find a care provider and request an appointment from the 'Care Provider' tab on our web page.
You can utilize the ecare app to access everything related to your health care previous, current, and future. They should have given you a temporary username in order to set up a profile. After the setup, you have full access to seeing all your care. There is a tab within the app that has a bar graph emblem, this is where your test results can be found. Depending on what you had done will alter the time expectancy of when your results will be accessible from your app. Once they are available to be viewed; go to quick links, click on the bar graph saying: veiw your test results, find the particular test you would like to view, click on it to open it, and then at the top right is a picture of a printer. Click on this symbol and you will be able to have paper copies of any and all test results. I hope this helps!
