Can't really compete with convenience stores, with hours that are not Convenient. Hope they get there soon. Cities don't sleep, so this needs more robots. Footprints of these are small, but things are laid out a bit wasteful, need to not just do what other stores have done. They need to think about more options, that need less touches per week. If we consider the concept of frustration free packaging, what might that look and feel like in a convenient store, where I grab and go ?

Amazon Go shop is located next to The Spheres. If you’re visiting Amazon, you cannot miss this cool place. It’s the first cashier-free convenient store opened by Amazon. You can set up the app/phone number then go in. It’s a good experience.

Every single time (different days , different times of day)..Even though this store is marked "open" on Google ..and according to their own door signage with holiday hours posted. This store is closed without notice.. There is nothing saying why it's closed (on days it's should be open) So frustrating we are from out of country and staying close by we were wanting to try this out in the 10 days we are in town... But it appears this store is not in operation.

Great shopping experience. It's basically a grocery store, but with a modern design and, obviously, no checkout lines. Its location is central, conveniently next to the Amazon headquarters. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a seating area for eating. Most importantly, the technology is very cool and the prices are about the same as elsewhere.

Yes there is free wifi at the store.
There isn't a phone number for the store. The employees in the store can help with basic problems but you can always call or email Amazon support for more complicated issues.
Service animals can go anywhere but regular pets are not allowed per city of Seattle ordinances. There are a couple dog bone shaped tethers outside the entrance (on the building) and also racks/poles on the sidewalk that I've hitched my dog to.
There are no dedicated Amazon Go parking spots. Street parking and nearby garages are the best option (other than walking/biking/ride share/public transportation).
Yep they sell mugs and water bottles that are Amazon Branded here!
They are open daily from 7:00 to 21:00.
Hours are 7am-9pm M-F , no mention of Holiday exceptions
The alcohol section has an employee checking ID as you approach. You are unable to approach the alcohol without first using your ID checked.
It will be open to the public tomorrow (1/22)
Items will be billed through your Amazon account. When you arrive you can enter the gate by (a) scanning the code found under the "in-store" section of the Amazon app, (b) by inserting a credit card linked to your Amazon account, or (c) using your palm if you've set up Amazon One (there's a kiosk in the entrance if you'd like to register). The store tracks what you take and when you leave it will bill through your Amazon account (you can adjust what payment is used before entering) just as if you made a purchase on Amazon's website.
Yes. IDs are checked
They do not have. Just think that the store items are similar to vending machines
No.
Not sure about gift cards. Amezon go is, as it claims, is based on latest technology. At enteance u feed id and pick anything and just walk. No lines no queues. Billing is done by face recognition, i was told.
I looked through the selection on the app and didn't see anything other than groceries. But if you want to see a list of what they have, download the app and set it up (you need to do this to get into the store anyways), hit the three bars in the top left of the app, and click "menu". This shows you everything they have and even features stuff they have on discount.
when I visited, there was nothing in the refrigerator 7/1 I dont know now
You enter the store just after your kid.
Yes there is. As well as microwaves cutlery and napkins .
I'm not sure what you mean? Like for payment? Because it just takes the payment attached to your amazon account. You take your phone, open the amazon go app, scan in, shop, and leave.
Yes, a small selection of beer and wine. To enter the alcohol section you need to present a US or Canadian ID or passport
They primarily carry food items. They have a wide variety of ready-made sandwiches and salads. The store also carries some over the counter drugs and travel sized essentials.
They sell wine and beer, but no hard liquor. You must show a driver's licence, passport, or some kind of verification that says you're over 21.
The Store is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's, and Easter
Yes, but things like pre-made sandwiches, not produce
No, its just groceries
My receipts were emailed to the email address of my Amazon account - you should be able to find them there.
Terms? As long as you have amazon go app, if will let you scan in or out
No, dogs are not allowed in. You can tie them outside. They have water bowls
I brought in two people besides myself, but I believe you can scan in as many people under your account as you want. Anyone you scan in can pick up items and it will go into your virtual shopping cart
Probably it's the same as other days (7AM-9PM), or maybe the hours may differ a little bit.
Yes. They have raw meat and they have already prepared flank steak
There may be but it would be unlikely because it is a new store with limited products.
There is one open currently in Seattle. New location is opening in Fall, closer to city hall. One San Francisco and Chicago as well
Yes it is
Usually there isn't a line. Even when there is though it moves very quickly.
Yes.
Median reports that Amazon has no plans to expand Amazon Go to other locations at this time.
The Amazon building "Day 1" that house the Go store has convenient retail parking. The elevator exits you on the side with the Go store.
The store is walking distance form Westlake Centre, at 7th and Blanchard.
