Kruti has always been a constant in my life. From when I was a four-year-old entering the studio for the first time to now, I can confidently say that dance is one of the best parts of my life. While I never knew how far this journey would take me, I always knew that my fondest memories would come from Kruti. Not only have I met some of my closest friends here, but I have also learned qualities such as dedication, perseverance, and leadership. Volunteering and interacting with the other girls at Kruti has given me so much confidence, and my love for dance has only grown with every weekend I spend there. Being at Kruti has brought me so much closer to my culture and has developed a strong sense of community within me. I am so grateful to my parents and Dina Aunty and Shemoni Didi for bringing out the best in me and nurturing me from a small, clumsy girl into the confident dancer I am today. I can look back and say that the journey I have created with this studio will forever stay with me. I have become a girl I can be proud of, who will work hard and put 110% into whatever she does. Over the years Kruti has made me into a girl with so much passion and pride in this journey, and I cannot wait to see what my future has in store for me. After completing my arangetram, I can confidently say that Kruti has changed me for the better. The years I have spent here have formed me into the best version of myself and I know that the qualities I have learned in this studio will follow me far in life. The studio truly was my second home and it’s only after my arangetram that I realized how much of an impact Kruti had on me. Being there every weekend gave me something to do - a purpose to live up to and the joy I get from being able to relive my memories is something I will never take for granted.

It’s hard to believe that this is my last year in a Kruti uniform. Words cannot express how amazing my experience was. I constantly looked forward to every class, and had so much fun every time. Whether it be always joking around with the guys, or learning exciting and energetic dances, every class created the best memories. When I reflect on my time at Kruti, I realize how strongly it instilled the values of diligence and commitment, especially when it came to tasks like practicing or preparing to teach a class. I will carry these values with me throughout college and the rest of my life.

I started Kruti in 4th grade as a Bharatanatyam student, and I am currently done with my senior year and about to go to college. I have learned to enjoy dance and am about to finish my Bharatanatyam course at Kruti Dance Academy through the most incredible supporters, Dina Auntie and Shemoni didi. Kruti Dance Academy taught me to branch out, and that is when I joined the Arangetram Bollywood class. This class definitely challenged me, but through Dina Auntie and Shemoni didi's support and guidance, I found to love it and look forward to it every weekend! I have been coming to Kruti Dance Academy for years, and I love it. It's like my second family, and I love the environment at Kruti Dance Academy. The teachers, volunteers, and everyone there are super friendly. I have gained many opportunities through Kruti Dance Academy academy that enhanced my opportunities in school and now in college. In addition, I have learned leadership qualities and responsibility through Kruti Dance Academy. Most importantly, all the fantastic relationships of my arangetram 2022 girls that I have made through this year is something I won't forget. We have come super close to each other, and I am so thankful for Kruti Dance Academy that I could have these amazing relationships for a lifetime.
