We booked 4 rooms last minute due to death in family. The lady in the front was very nice and friends. Checked in early due to have thing to take care we came back to rooms late. Two of the four rooms had mold in bathrooms. One the rooms bathroom door didnt shut. Two key cards didnt work the male manger was rude about having to set them up again. Than later in the night One of the kids got locked out of the room and went to front desk the male manager yelled at him about having to set up another key to get in. In the morning spoke with the nicer lady in the morning about the way we were treated and the conditions of the room. Said The manger said he was to busy to deal with would call later. Five hours later still have not heard back. Not impressed at all. Several weeks still no call. Turned into corporate than said manger would reach out in week. Still never got anything.

It's what you would expect for a Super 8. Rooms were adequate size, a little dark on lighting. Shower towels a little thin. You probably don't want a ground level room facing the parking lot since ground level is actually about four feet below ground. Pool and hot tub were OK. Breakfast OK: eggs, sausage, toast, etc... We'd stay there again. All three chain hotels in Huron within two blocks of each other at the south edge of town.

IF YOU HAVE DOGS MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN ALL THEIR HAIR OFF YOURSELF BEFORE YOU GO INTO YOUR ROOM! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR ANY DOG HAIR IN THE ROOM AND NOT TELL YOU ABOUT THE EXTRA CHARGE!! Everything was great till I looked on my account and saw an extra charge. Called and was told I was lying and brought a pet in the room. My dogs were at home. It's shedding season so their hair is everywhere so it was on our clothes and my son's pack and play. Guess just bringing hair into the room was an issue. Will not ever stay at this hotel again. Sad to say it.

Original front desk attendant was very nice, friendly and guest oriented. Later, I went to front desk to inform them that our smoke detector was beeping because of a low battery. No one came to fix it slept with it beeping the entire first night. Next morning again I went to the front desk to inform them that our sm9ke detector still was beeping, the original attendant was working again and within 30 minutes she had maintenance in our room to fix it and apologized. Swimming pool ladder broken just hanging on not actually screwed in, stairs entering the pool were weak and felt unsafe. The hot top had what u think of when taking a bubble bath and reaked of bleach or some strong cleaner smelled like 3 gallons of bleach had been spilt every where with the frothy water and bleach smell did not ho in the hot tub at all. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good.
