This was our first time using this service. The process was simple and straight forward. You enter from one side with your load. Wait for your turn to unload and thats it. There is an attendant to assist you with where to park your vehicle for unloading. The facility accepts all kind of household goods furniture and debris for removal. On your way out you are weighed without your load and charged as per your load. Just $10.00 for your first 400 lbs.

Needs more space ASAP. Everyone in Cobb County come here and line is always long with no less than a hour waiting time. We Pay taxes and need some good using for our money here.
Needs some investment now.
Appliances containing freon are accepted at the Transfer Station. Cobb County Solid Waste will extract the freon on-site. Please deposit the refrigerators at the signs by the scrap metal area.
I have a couple of questions.
1. Is there a extra charge to dump a mattress and box spring?
2. For the curbside pickup of tree limbs how do you sign up to receive this service ? I live in Powder Springs.

$5 per mattress charge. No clue about tree limbs pickup, but you can dump tree limbs here.
Do we take Christmas trees to vegetative waste station or to the transfer station?

If it's a live tree you could take it to either solid waste place or vegetative waste place. If it's a fake tree you'd take it to solid waste, not vegetative dump.
I need to dump 2 bi-fold doors from a closet. Do you take them and how much do they cost?

But I think you’d be better advertising on Facebook marketplace and you might get someone who needs it to accept it or maybe even haul it off for free for you

I've been to this Dissposal Center prior since its up the road from my home, but I want to know if you can dispose a 27" TV since my last disposal was a sectional. Plus, is it true the prices have changed with no signage or warning, if so how much?

It's $10 if you're a Cobb resident - they DO NOT take cash - and you have to show your ID to get the resident rate. I guess too many people abused the system, so they cracked down.

You can only take paint old paint but batteries oils and chemicals you cannot take to the city dump they won't accept it and you can take the oils toa place that changes oil and the batteries can go to a battery place that AutoZone

There are people there that will help her unload it if she needs the help but they're not obligated to do it. If she's never been there before it can be confusing the first time.
Are items sorted here? Can you collect/purchase items such as scrap fence posts, tires for jungle gym projects, etc?

Basic cost is $7 for household waste if it's not over the height of the truck bed. Then it's by weight. The vegetative dump it's $15 up to the truck bed height and $20 if it's over the truck bed. It's cheaper to go to the household waste site rather the vegetative site.

Yes but it closes around Noon I think. It opens at 7:00am and the line starts building up I'm mediately so come as early as possible to avoid a long wait in line.

Since they take oil and antifreeze with no extra charge, I'm pretty confident they'd take gas too.
