When you’re told things that ultimately don’t sit right in logic, make some calls for clarity.

HONOR MY WARRANTY AND REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE WINDOWS I BOUGHT FROM EMPIRE!!! I bought my windows from #EmpireToday in 2006 and all 22 of them are defective with ruptured seals. The manufacturer #Alside / #AssociatedMaterials / #AMI is not honoring its "Lifetime Warranty," with no response or explanation even though I have submitted a valid claim. When I spoke with Empire's Customer Service Regional Manager Bill Alavado, he actually told me "You're on your own." But it was Empire who sat in my living room for three hours all those years ago and made promises about how this was a "lifetime investment" for my home. Where is Empire now? If I have to sue for breach of warranty for these #defectivewindows, Empire will be at the top of my filing papers. This is fraud. I want my windows replaced by Empire now, installed NOW so I can sell my house while the market is still good. The painters can't paint until the defective windows are replaced. EMPIRE TODAY IS HOLDING MY HOUSE RENOVATION HOSTAGE!! I did business with you. I relied upon your promises. I believed your jingle man. I'm relying upon your company to do the right thing and replace my windows and then YOU can go after Alside. MAKE THIS RIGHT!!!

Call this location and the GA Dept of Law Consumer Protection Dept and neither would provide a definition of a OCGA regulation for clarity. Simply says thats legal advice and I need to call a lawyer. This is probably why this state steals so many identities. 😑

Anyone else have an issue with his house? Quality of product and lack of return policy. This company should not be allowed to sell their products

Carol Henderson | Nov 7, 2018
Sarita Smith | Nov 7, 2018

Typically business are allowed to set their own return policies and no agency can force them to set a particular return policy. If you are unhappy with the quality of the product you received, you may be able to speak with a private attorney to see what your options are. Hope that helps!

I just purchased a vehicle and noticed the price off my vehicle is $1200 more than the original sticker on the vehicle. It was changed after I was in finance office with financial manager. What do I do in a timely manner?

Patricia Green | Nov 7, 2017
Sarita Smith | Nov 7, 2018

Dealers do not have to provide tag, tax and title fees in the advertised price. That may account for the price difference. If the dealer didn't include any other fees, like administrative fees or dealer fees, then you can file a complaint. Hope that helps!

Do y'all investigate automobile dealership fraud?

Joey Gerlaugg | Nov 7, 2017
Sarita Smith | Nov 7, 2018

In short, yes. There has to be an established pattern of fraudulent behavior by the business. That basically means enough consumers have to submit complaints and supporting documents, so an investigation can be conducted. You definitely can submit a complaint to help build a case against the business in question. Hope that helps!
