Listed as open until 530 and the door is locked and no one in sight at 525. This was important to me to get papers just dropped in the box upstairs. Because a year and a half later I can eat a Big Mac inside McDonald's but government offices are still closed. They don't care.

I was not looking forward in going yo the L and I office, however it was nothing that i expected , the lady that was helping me with a new business , walk me thro each step i needed. I think her name was Laurnore.

Originally I gave L & I a 2 star rating, but this changed on my subsequent visit. We were going through some changes with our company and had to change our name. Long story short, The first time I went down I had the worst experience possible, the person (first name Caroline) on the other end of the counter was looking for every opportunity to not help me. From the way she asked questions to the way she responded to me I got the feeling she either didn't want to help me or didn't like her job. On the second visit I was helped by Crystal, who was the most delightful person I have ever dealt with any governmental body. She helped me navigate the bureaucracy rather than using it against me. If you every see this Crystal, THANK YOU!!!!

I called to inquire about the mandatory workplace posters. Name and address and they were sent out to me with very minimal effort. It was harder to find the correct phone number Thru the websites. Thank you google for making that easy.

If a person is scheduled to work 5 days, and wants to use a sick day, will the employee still be eligible for the sick day if they exceed 40 hours?

Yes. You can have over 40 with sick pay but it won't be overtime unless you are over 48 with sick pay.

New law states that employers must give employees sick leave. Sick leave is accuried. 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. The LnI website outlines all guidelines for this. You should direct your employer to reference LnI in regards to this. If the employer still doesn't want to give you sick leave simply notify LnI yourself and they can help resolve this issue with your employer.

You should ask Labor and Industries directly by calling them, you question goes to the internet which anyone can answer. Although if it were me I would tell him that is not acceptable.

If I am found to be permanently disabled and I have to pay back money to l and I and I'm given a choice of a or be. Which is b. Because choosing a makes 600$ out of my check. What would the b choice be.
