I adore this place and the staff. From the top down, everyone is friendly, helpful, and well-informed. It was so hard to decide to situate my mom out of my house and into memory care but this has definitely been the right choice. I really can't gush enough. It's a 45 minute drive from my home and there were closer options but Spring Ridge is worth every minute of traffic every week. They understand my mom's individual needs and they are also very careful about COVID precautions, which is a big relief.

The one thing I can confess is when I worked here 14 years ago I was treated like a slave from the previous director. As a housekeeper I was in charge of the whole facility having to clean each room for 30 minutes, alongside the dining halls, and public restrooms. Some of the major disastrous rooms that took up time was the ones the caregivers failed to manage. The director had one resident volunteer vacuuming the facility as a "cheaper" way rather than paying more housekeepers. It was like juggling bowling balls each day while putting up with a lot of complaints and harassment from the residents who just couldn't recognize the director did not want to hire more housekeepers. It was like I was kicked around like a soccer ball without any backup help. Very tough place to be laboring dirty work with no gratitude or appreciation, but always a written complaint every week from the director pushing me to "make these people more happier"! I would want to confess the most manipulative resident was the one who posted one of the testimonials on the website and happened to be "dedicated". When finally the director let me go I had to fight for my unemployment because she had made a falsified statement that I quit. I am posting this as a statement for facilities and family members to remember that quality care should not come at a cost of abusing workers needs and making profit a priority. Real quality care should be going your way to give each resident the proper health needs at all means while giving the workers the proper training and teamwork to make the environment safe and justified.

From the minute I walked in I was greeting and welcomed and felt the genuine care. I spoke with the executive director Michelle Wyse and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer my questions and supply me with an immense amount of knowledge. Taking this step in life and wanting only the best for your parents is a scary road to travel, but Michele made this process so much more easier and I left feeling completely at ease. Thank you for taking your time to help me and answer my questions and not make me feel like a number! Definitely recommend ❣️

I recommend Spring Ridge as your first stop when needing independent living or assisted living for your loved ones. Michelle Wyse who is the Executive Director is such a great resource. She has over 20 years experience and has been so helpful for our family in answering questions and giving us valuable information about memory care/dementia. She has many contacts in this area and will definitely be able to assist. She truly cares about her residents & is passionate about what she does. Don't hesitate to give them a call.
