Horrible, customer service is terrible no one answers the phone. When you email you get sarcastic remarks back like you are bothering them. I was told to pay the water bill myself so when I go to pay my rent there is an extra charge with my rent payment so finally after 13 days I was able ro pay my rent for the month and was told I would be credited back the money I paid for the water bill. That didn't happen. So now the next month is here and the same charge is tacked on with my rent payment so I nervous to pay due to my first credit didn't happen. When it was time for the lease renewal they tried to raise the rent by 20%. When I emailed them for about a week and told them Maryland only allows a 5% increase u can imagine I got sarcastic remarks from an email never being able to talk to someone. Frustrating dealing with those company.

Got a cash offer on my home 2 days after it was listed as coming soon. Read reviews and was weary, but accepted. They did their inspection 10 days after they “acknowledged” my acceptance of the offer. (Accepted on the 18th, (they started the contract on the 26th) first red flag. From the 26th to the 4th nothing! No communication. The last day of due diligence they send an email at 4:53pm asking for an extension. At this point I’m under contract to buy another home. I read the reviews again and decided to terminate. What a complete waste of time and super stressful. It’s not fair that they string people along and make offers when they have a 70-80% termination rate! My house could have been shown and sold already, but here we are. Very unfortunate situation for my family and other families that go through this. Now my children and I are trying to figure out what to do now! Thanks a lot sylvan!

We lost out on two homes because our leasing agent was slow to get back to us(took her a week), this after I left her many messages as well as calling the main number and asking them to leave messages. She didn’t even look at our application to see which house we were applying for nor that we had an ESA dog. She didn’t know the company’s own policies for that and tried to continually tell me we have to be charged for our animal, I had to screenshot her the policy and laws.. The walkthrough is literally them giving you your key in a lockbox. There is zero face to face interaction with a person. I’m grateful we got a brand new build because the way a lot of the homes I tour looked, they should be ashamed. One had bubbling on the cabinets which indicates water damage. The homes are rented AS IS..

No. And do not give any money for app fees. You will not hear from anyone and you can't get anyone on the phone. Tbh...people could just move into their properties and live there for years before they find out..with their terrible communication.
You're better off hiring an attorney to send them letter they dont answer calls
Cause this worst company to rent from or deal with. They don't care just want the money.
We love our house! But we old school, we ain’t moving in no house without going inside and checking it out. I checked my screens, my faucets, flushed toilets, checked a/c. I even ran the dishwasher! Lol I also visited the neighborhood at night to make sure there is NO riff raff! Look at God🙏🏾

I didn’t have one either. I went to Home Depot bought one for about 40 bucks. And my hubby did the rest. Make sure you read that list about what the tenants are responsible for. I’m lucky that I have a mechanical inclined hubby. Some don’t, but that’s what we did hun
I am having the same problem. These people are horrible and don't care. I wonder if they would reach out if you stop paying rent. This is ridiculous. I wonder if we can all come together to go to the news to see if we can get some responses that way. It is a shame that we even have to go through this for decent service
Wow, that's sad to hear. But they want that deposit in 24 hours tho.... and you to move in 14 days I'm like wow that's a lot real fast. I told them when I began my application my lease at my current plavpce is not over till the end of May I'm not paying two rents, that's crazy.
They dont negotiate at all, even if your AC breaks or leaks in your house, the company also sends the wrong inspection reports for houses
