What does WLD stand for?

WLD stands for Wayne Leonard Davis. The camp was named in memory of a young man who dreamed of having a place to tell kids in his neighborhood about Jesus. After Wayne was killed in a car accident in 1961, his parents donated the property to a church to start the camp in his memory. The mission of WLD Ranch continues to be to guide people to Jesus, reaching a neighborhood much bigger than Wayne could have imagined. Learn more at www.wldranch.com/about/.

I spent several summers camping with my little with big brothers and sister organization. I loved it. Now I have grand children and would love to visit again. How much would it cost or what do I do to make this happen?

You can call (814)474-3414 to set something up. We also have a Kids' Christmas shop coming up December 6-7 for kids to shop for affordable gifts for those on their list. We have a bake sale going on, also, and offer either hayrides or sledding (weather permitting). Friday 4-8pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. You can also go to our website www.wldranch.com for information on our winter weekends for the kids in January. They make great Christmas gifts. Hope to see you soon!

The only spirit active there is the Holy Spirit. There are no rumors of any poltergeists.
