It’s early Wednesday morning. My package is sitting in your facility, a less than 10 minute drive from my home. I have an urgent need to pick up my package in the next few hours, to take it abroad with me on a trip scheduled to depart early afternoon. It’s why I opted for the 2 day shipping option. I immediately call the facility at 830am as soon as customer service operations open. I get connected to an AI powered call bot who ends the call by giving me information that I don’t need. I call again. This time, I reach a human, someone with feelings and empathy. My hopes are dashed. The human is just an extension of AI. It reads off a prepared statement. It shows zero lack of empathy for the urgency of the situation. There is zero drive to help. No alternative solutions provided. Just pre-programmed excuses why my request is mission impossible. The call ends. My urgent need to pick up the package goes unheard. My package sits idly again for the next few hours. Untouched. Lonely. Without an owner. It misses it’s flight, it’s sole purpose in life. It arrives on my doorstep 6 hours later. Again, lonely. There is no one there to pick it up. UPS is not a human company anymore. It’s a company programmed to get your package from A to B, with minimal human interactions in between. It has lost it’s human touch in pursuit of maximum profits. The UPS brand is cold, sheltered, and purposeless. The Tukwila UPS Customer Service is a byproduct of this revolution. It’s a service center without a face and a heart.

I finally know what UPS stands for. U.seless P.ieces of S.hit. they lie because they do not put forth their best effort. They are lazy and not very smart. They take advantage of me because I have stage 4 cancer so I guess I don't matter to them. Ugly stuff
