If you need a place to stay overnight on your way to a real campground, this place will suffice. Located on busy Highway 101, the campground is dominated by road noise. Think twice about walking to the beach, as you risk your life crossing 4 lanes of 101 on a blind corner to get there. Very boring place, but there is a nice, short trail. Not much to do. We were excited that it was only about an hour drive from home, but won't be going back.

I love that it’s surrounded by trees! The beach was absolutely fun! We had site 07 and didn’t enjoy it at all. It was way too close from hwy 101 and was very noisy. Dumpsters are really hard to find! compare to the other parks, this one is not well keep like the other ones. It’s not dirty in any mean but other state parks that I’ve been to are better.

Great little camp ground for rv camping or pitch a tent and rough it. Only draw backs. No places to charge your cell phone or other electronics unless you do it in the bathrooms or sit at a rv spot and the electrical boxes that are meant for rv parking. Also very noisy road traffic can be hard to sleep at night bgg because of that.

Very small camp sites and many are right next to the highway. While beach day use area is outstanding (and even better after hours), the staff exceptional pleasant, and the facility well maintained - this maybe best as stop rather than the destination.

It varies by site. Their basic tent sites are $20, but the sites with water and elec are more. They also have a couple of hiker/biker sites which I think are $12.
