UPDATE: @Dr. Schermer, No, I was NOT provided a paper form as an alternative. Your front staff told me everything was digital and I had no other choice other than rescheduling, even though it was your system that was malfunctioning. I specifically asked for other options, including asking them if they could do it from the office computers while I provide them with info, and they told me no. Again, without even looking up from their monitors. So I left. Please do not reply with a false account of what happened, it's worsening my impression of your practice. Please note, if your staff made at least an effort to help but couldn't, I would've rescheduled. But it was so shocking to see neither of them seem to care at all. ---- Just wanted to first clarify that this review is on the pratice and not on capability of the doc. I never got to see the optometrist because the office staff seems to have no interest in providing quality service to its patients. I was a patient of Dr. Levy and was transferred to the new practice when Dr. Levy retired. I scheduled my annual thinking it'll be an easy process since all my info stayed the same. I walked in and I was asked to fill out a form using a link. One of their photo capture system malfunctioned on my phone and I was kicked out multiple times. I showed the front desk staff that I was having difficulty completing the registration because one of their feature was not working. The staff's exact response to me was, "Well, this is why we our patients to fill out their forms before their appointment. We transitioned to all things paperless. There's nothing we can do" in all while, she wasn't even looking up from her computer while speaking to me and didn't even seem apologetic at all. I was physically at the office so apparently they didn't even have the ability to input my info manually into their computer? I had taken off work early to come and they didn't even spend 1sec trying to find a back up solution in case their technology failed. Most importantly was so clear they didn't even care. I wasn't able to do the exam but I definitely won't be returning to this pratice. I know well enough how catastrophic it is to depend any part of your well-being with a practice who care less about their patients.
