Nice visitor center. Clean. Excellent parking. Has the essentials for a quick stop.

Very large facility for parking and visitors to stop in and take a break.

Bathroom was very dirty even for a rest area. Massive rat nest in the bushes on the right if you park in the first area for cars - just an insane amount of rats right by the two overflowing trash cans. Trucks overtake the car parking and was barely able to back up out of the space when we got back to the car.

So glad we have places like this on the highways.

As long as you lock your doors is well lite was on way home been driving for 10 hrs need take nap only had 60miles left and lucky my key were in ignition so dinged when door open some homeless person or thief had opened my back door tried to steal my cooler. Any rest stop in Maryland its legal to rest there if warm spring time just crack windows try park in spot that catches breeze also can roll down back windows 4 5 inches if you put child door locks on so can't be opened from inside back car leave both front windows 1/2 inch open be my advice. I will say they have very clean bathrooms though only use stalls at night and don't hand anything on hook there reach over grab coat purses ect not at welcome center but smaller truck stops be carefull.

That particular rest area does not have fuel however, if you go to the next exit which is State Route 216 and go east there will be a Exxon and a Shell station I believe to the left. There's also a McDonald's and a supermarket. This rest area is big enough that you can pull pretty much anything into it. I travel in a Motorcoach so the truck parking is big enough for a coach towing a car, it has picnic tables where you can actually get out and eat without sitting in the car, places to walk the dog, also has vending and restrooms. If you're looking for a dump station for an RV or motorhome you have to go down to exit 216 come back around up 95 to the Northbound side of the rest area and there you will find a dump station; it's absolutely free.
