Quitters. They asked my 4yr old to leave the school after just 4 days because of one bad tantrum. Then hypocritically said “too bad he’s not full time so he could have more time to adjust.” How can he adjust if you wouldn’t allow him the time to do so? Saying that implies if I paid more money you would have given him more time to adjust to the school. It was more convenient for you to remove him than to try to help him learn/adjust to his new environment. When you asked us to pick him up 1/2 way through the 4th day, you had a reimbursement check in hand ready to go before even speaking with us in person to give us the details of what happened. If staffing is an issue, you should review your acceptance ratios better so you can properly care for the children who attend. 20 4yr olds in one classroom is a lot for any two teachers to handle. You gave zero warnings. No emails, calls, notes , meetings, or anything in the previous days that his behavior was concerning. His teacher even admitted he did ok the first three days too. But no, it was one and done for us rather than trying to work with us. You quit on a 4yr old child.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school! My son has been attending Primrose for 3 years and my only regret is that we didn't start him here sooner. The teachers are EXCEPTIONAL, and have helped him develop both intellectual curiosity and character. The administration has always been super supportive and have well exceeded my expectations with how they handle things and communication. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my son and family. The team at Primrose is the best!!!

My son went to Primrose from the age 2 till he turned 5, and oh! what an amazing childhood he had at Primrose. The facility is super safe, super education pro, and it nurtured my son’s interpersonal skills, motor skills, social values to the highest and in best way possible. The quality of food is great. All of his teachers were well educated and trained to take care of the kids. We loved all of his teachers. He still remembers them fondly. He made the best of friends here. We moved out of Richmond, and Primrose is one of those places which we sorely missed. We are proud of this facility at Westerre Commons! You are forever cherished. Kudos to you! ❤️❤️❤️

Hello Friends, I am a teacher at Primrose School Westerre Commons and I am proud to be a part of the Primrose team. The Primrose curriculum is a wonderful approach to learning. It “inspires children to think in more ways,” than one and I am continuously flabbergasted by the students in my EPS2 classroom. Each week there are new activities or songs that are super engaging, and we take it to another level of awesomeness! A few weeks ago, we sang a song, “The frogs hop and jump, the frogs hop and jump, hippity-hop, hippity-hop, the frogs hop and jump.” The students requested that song every day, and we all “hippity-hop” around, and they absolutely love it! Every day is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the kids in the classroom. Working in any pre-school environment is not about one's profitability, but how much we as teachers can invest in the lives of the next generation. When a student enters the classroom full of excitement, and wonderment, it’s a wonderful opportunity to have a “light bulb” moment. The students’ love “sensory play,” “Children Choice Centers,” and of course “Wonder Times and Early Masters Arts Programs.” I’ve had families sharing some of the most wonderful stories of their child’s experiences and connection to an activity, and how proud they were of those moments. As a teacher, those are some of my treasured stories. I love working as a teacher at Primrose Westerre Commons. I am part of a team that “provides teachers with the tools and guidance” to help students explore their natural environment. The Primrose families are respected community members who are dedicated people of our society. It is an awesome privilege to be a part of the Primrose community. The best part of my job as a teacher is bonding, connecting, and loving each student with the love God has given me. Primrose Westerre Commons families, staff, and team, thank you for such a great opportunity.

Every child learns at their own pace because every child is unique. At Primrose schools, teachers use a variety of tools throughout the year to collaborate with families and monitor each child’s progress. This helps them understand each child’s individual needs and provide the personalized support that helps them excel.
We call our curriculum the Balanced Learning® approach. It is designed to inspire children to think with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. Primrose school teachers not only guide children as they learn letters, numbers, science and more, but they also weave in character development and life skills opportunities throughout the day so children can develop social and relationship skills.
Yes, our school has a kindergarten program that utilizes our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to help prepare children for success in Kindergarten, elementary school, and beyond. Small group lessons offer greater individual attention and our extended hours help support working parents with all-day care.
We require all teachers to be certified in first aid and CPR, in addition to ongoing health and safety training throughout the year. Teachers are also trained on common signs of illness with signage placed in each classroom. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/yakwfr8g
Teachers and students practice frequent handwashing throughout the day and adhere to a strict sick policy. Temperature checks, touch free check in, and limitations on visitors may also be implemented to minimize risk to all. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/y7gutztv
Items like high-touch toys, playground equipment, and other common surfaces are disinfected frequently throughout the day. Sheets and blankets from cribs are laundered daily; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and are laundered on a weekly basis. We require any students or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours.
