My passport expired , and I had a trip scheduled this month (June). Needless to say, time was not my friend , and so I went to the first place I thought would be able to help me: an expediter. I googled a few local places and was shocked by the exorbitant fees they were charging. Next, I turned to an agency I used many years ago, but the amount of money they wanted for a 5-day service was unbelievably expensive! I continued my search and stumbled upon Allstate. I didn’t have a lot of expectations but comparing their service with similar ones on Google, I chose them for three reasons: 1) reasonable fees 2) great reviews 3) service options (5 days 10 days, 15 days, etc.).They’re great at what they do, keep you in the loop every step of the way, and address your questions/concerns in a personal way.

Allstate Passports got me out of a big jam when I realized while preparing for an out of country trip that my passport had expired. I bought the 5 day super fast service. I felt well informed along the way and my renewed passport arrived exactly on time. Good work.

I went to Allstate Passports after discussing the process with several other providers. The others were selling, and up charging advertised prices. Allstate was simple and consistent. They didn't try to defer contact to a computer program, important where time is essential and personal clarification and reassurance is crucial. They got the passport to me ahead of when they promised. They were available to discuss with me what was required, even at odd hours. I wouldn't think of going to anyone else.

With a trip coming up, both my husband and I realized we needed to renew our passport but the normal processing time was going to be too long and would have kept us from being able to travel. We found Allstate passports and it was a complete game changer for us. From the moment we first contacted them to the time our passport arrived at our door (way earlier than expected) it all felt too good to be true!! Customer service was so personal and helpful and we got our passports with so much time to spare before our trip. They made everything very easy and straightforward for us. We are beyond thankful for this business that saved us and allowed us to still travel!

Applying for a child’s passport will require personal appearance of the child with a legal guardian at an acceptance facility. You may also try and schedule an appointment at the regional US passport agency to expedite the process.
Children under age 16, all first-time applicants, and applicants who have lost their passport or had their passport stolen must apply in-person at an Acceptance Facility. These locations include post offices, clerks of court, libraries, and local government offices. Contact your local acceptance facility to confirm it is open before you apply. Some locations may require appointments. If you want to apply at a post office, you will need to make an appointment on the USPS.com website.
You use the same form that you would use to apply for a passport book (DS-11 or DS-82). There is a checkbox on the form for you to indicate that you are applying for a passport card. If you already have a passport book and you are eligible to use Form DS-82 (renewal by mail), you may apply for a passport card using DS-82 even if this is your first passport card. Otherwise you will need to use form DS-11 to apply for a passport card.
You will need to submit a statement, signed and dated, which includes the phrase, “I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the following is true and correct: (Child's full name) has never been issued a Social Security number by the Social Security Administration.”
You cannot renew your child's passport. If your child is under age 16, he or she must appear in person with you and the child's other parent or guardian to apply. A child's application must be submitted in person at a passport agency or authorized passport application acceptance facility. It cannot be renewed by mail. If you were age 16 or older when your passport was issued, your passport is valid for 10 years. If you were under 16 when your passport was issued, your passport is valid for 5 years. The Issue Date of your passport can be found on the data page of your passport book or on the front of your passport card. Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.
Yes, in most cases, the old, canceled passport will be returned to you. The old passport may be sent separately from your new passport. We recommend keeping your old passport in a safe place as it is considered proof of your U.S. citizenship. If your old passport is linked to a valid visa, you can still use the valid visa. You must travel with both your new and old passport in this case. When you receive your new passport, the number on the document will be different from the number on your previous passport.
