I have been to the Consulate once and dealt over the phone with them a few times. As a Canadian here in the US they have been absolutely fantastic to work with. Their knowledge is very good and they explain everything easily. I would always recommend giving them a call if you have any questions while in the US northwest. If nobody is available they return your call as soon as they can.

Dealing with the Canadian Consulate is a total NIGHTMARE. It really makes me glad that I am an AMERICAN. I have a friend from South Africa that has been visiting here for 55 days. That's how long she has been waiting for her visa to get into Canada to visit her son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters who are all Canadian Citizens. The Canadians are holding my friends passport, so she is stuck here and won't even be able to get her US Visa renewed, thanks to the inept CANADIANS. WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING. CANADA IMMIGRATIONS IS THE WORST.

Maybe....I'm in the same boat with a felony from about 15 years ago... IF I remember correctly, you should have no problem after 15 years of being clean. The term is "deemed rehabilitated". I'm going in to the consulate on Monday to ask the same question, and if I remember to post back here, I'll let you know...

I believe you can. I got my replacement one rush ordered when mine was stolen. Make an appointment with paperwork and photos ready. They are near Westlake Center.

I dont see why not. Call the consulate in Seattle, they are on 4th avenue and ask if it would be possible. They are very helpful
