Great question! It's all what you are comfortable with. Right now we are in an interesting situation where obviously sellers are getting top dollar +++, but interest rates are so good and home values are continuing to appreciate at a healthy rate where the market is great for buyers AND sellers. If you want the lower monthly payment, and are desperate to get out of your current living situation, let's do it now!
If possible, absolutely. I have published a lot of ways to get that done on social media. I can see signs of the market turning to perhaps begin to favor those who may have a home sale contingency, but if you want a more stress-free experience I highly suggest selling first.
In my experience in Maryland we have been able to find people a home in 3 months or less. Most times less!
With interest rates still being historically low, I'm always going to say yes! It is definitely challenging with multiple offers going over list price, but when you work with a great realtor like me we can make sure you win without breaking the bank.
