We went here after visiting the Lincoln Memorial. It was a baking hot day and we stopped here for Sandwiches and cakes and drinks. It was not cheap, but we were hungry and very thirsty. The thing about American Sandwiches are they are very filling, but we spent nearly $50 here. We would not have done so if there had been somewhere decent nearby. This is a tourist trap for the unwary.

What kind of business tries to charge people for a simple cup of water when it’s 90 degrees out and the only working water fountain within a mile radius is shut off? Overpriced tourist trap with absolutely terrible service. Avoid if possible.

This was the perfect little place to get souvenirs and a snack before going to the memorials.

The lady at the store made fresh pot of coffee within 2 mins and said they stock not much at a time. Good location adjacent to Lincoln Memorial.
