One of the best Japanese restaurants in Washington DC. Small, authentic, best service, friendly people, perfect food, food design and atmosphere. Quality was perfect. The boss is very nice. Perfect food preparation. A totally successful dinner with the family. A great family meal. We will be happy to come back. When we're in Washington. It was a nice dinner.

As always this place has never failed in high food quality. Please see the specials (photo);as they are worth exploring. The place is small so go early. The prices have gone up in the past 20 years as expected. Enjoy the best sushi on the Boulevard in an informal environment.

Honestly wasn’t super impressed by the eel dish. It was good, but the flavors were rather bland and it was not a lot of eel for the price. I appreciated the side dishes though. The chirashi was fresh but nothing out of the ordinary

Really high quality and fresh fish. Great service and clean preparation. Everything was super tasty. Non-fish options are limited, in case you were thinking of bringing someone who doesn’t do raw fish or fish in general. Otherwise, wide variety and really tasty. Will definitely be back!
