I’ve been dealing with the division of corporations for the better part of a year and a half and they have no regard for their clientele. About 6 months into me bringing papers in for apostilles, they made up a rule that I specifically would have to wait a day to pick up the papers I brought in with me, despite me getting the apostille the same day up until this point. This rule that they created is not listed anywhere on their website and I have checked multiple times to try and reference it but it simply does not exist. I have tried talking to the supervisor on multiple occasions and she has been nothing but abrasive with me for no good reason other than me being there. I have had other employees come up to me individually and explain that the people in the office do not like me and would be treating me as such simply because they felt like I was in the office too often. The most recent incident was today where I explained to them that I just had my wisdom teeth removed and I should not be driving per doctors orders and the supervisor could not have cared less and made me wait the day to pick up my documents anyways. I feel like this is discrimination because I can see the difference in the way they treat me versus other clients and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well.

The personnel lacked professional attire and attitude. The woman at the front desk was eating a bag of chips when I enter and seemed disturbed that I was asking questions. After that, the experience was much better even though the other women who worked there didn't look professional either.

Awful place. Read the reviews that calling was near impossible, so I came in person. Unhelpful people

The Division of Corporations does not handle title issues. You should contact FLHSMV.
Annual Report reminders will be emailed to the email address that was provided at the time of filing.
File an amendment.
I'm not sure. I went to there to get my birth certificate (copy/short form) authenticated And my Certificate of live birth apostilled secured party creditor process. But for the exemption certificate I will find out and let you know.
It would be best to go in person. And be warned, they're Not a friendly bunch.
Hi, l am no longer employed by Division of Corporations. You need to call their main office
If i remember it was on next day or 2 days if file online
You can check sunbiz.org to see if it's there...otherwise you need to contact the IRS for an EIN
No. However you can walk up to the door and call the posted number and someone will come out to help you. You just can't go inside
No, I do not believe you can sign unless you are given special consideration by the company. I would suggest reviewing "who can authorize" in the states statutory requirements.
No, I drove there
I don't know I don't work there and I'm working here just for today I don't even know my way around, sorry
Yes. There are people available to help Mon - Fri 8am- 5pm.
Or you can let these people know you need a refund. It happened to me and got my money back.
Yes but check your local agencies that issues occupational or business licenses for restrictions on the type of business and also be aware that your residence address will be available to the public
File a resignation of officer/registered agent. Form can be found on the website Sunbiz.org under the forms and fees tab
That is not something we cover as we are just a recording office. Please look up corporate laws or contact a corporate lawyer for advice
Processing time is longer than usual for this time of the year. It us the busiest time for that department. Best to call to check on processing times
Shares are an in house corporate document not required to be filed with the Div of Corps. So you can change them in house usually requiring a resolution by all the partners
Go to sunbiz.org. Under the heading ,Start a business, you will find resources, instructions, and online filing options.
No one speaks Spanish here. If you can rephrase your question in English i can try to help you
The first thing you need to do is determine what structure you want for your club. It could be an LLC or a non-profit, etc. After you do that, you can call the Division of Corporations to start a new filing.
Check with the issuing bank or business. You may need a copy of the articles proving that you were the principle officer's of the company to be able to cash it. Or the issuer may be able to replace the check with your name but again you will probably have to provide proof
If you are filing for a business registration go to www.sunbiz.org You can file online or go to forms to print and mail in.
In what regard? Corporate or LLC address or as a principle thereof?
Depends on the type of business you have registered. All directors, managing members can be updated when you file your Annual Reports
If you are filing for a tax exemption that is with the Florida Department of Revenue
It's $10 per certified or notarized document transcripts must have the school registrar signature notarized by a Florida public notary for apostille services
