Usually I get exceptional service at Publix and the Publix pharmacy on Mahan. Not today. I had the most unpleasant experience to get the Pharmacy Manager Marissa on the phone and she was rude, unhelpful, and expected me to know things a customer wouldn’t possibly know. She said the doctor’s office called in my prescription today and my order wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow. I truly thought she didn’t hear me and I said, “No, I called the doctor’s office yesterday, yesterday.” Then she snapped and said, “I heard you,” in a completely nasty tone. I didn’t respond, just waited. She came back and said, “It’s as I told you the first time, the doctor didn’t call it in until after 6, so it didn’t go in until today.” Now how was I supposed to know that? I called my doctor in the morning. And truthfully Marissa, my doctor’s office DID call it in yesterday, you just didn’t process it in a very timely fashion. I told her I was not happy with my experience, and she said I was rude. Will be taking my business elsewhere. She won’t need to dress up for Halloween.

The people are very friendly and helpful but they seriously need to increase their speed. I just waited for 15 minutes from the point of checkout to receiving it just for the pharmacist to add water and mix the children's antibiotic.
