I've always gone to sound family and I love the staff there, but there's no point in making an appointment over the phone, they ignore your call or answer it and put you on hold again for 30+ minutes. I've spent every lunch for a week trying to get through since I work durring their open hours and I seem to get disconnected or hung up on an hour into waiting and just pushed to the back of the phonecall line. I understand they could be busy, but I dont like missing work and pay so I can talk to someone about a medical issue and spending 300$ for the urgent care to say "we can't help you" and send me to someone else in the building.

Expect to wait 15-30 minutes on hold just to speak to a receptionist. I have called 2x for appointments and 1 for questions, each call i remained on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes, the longest was 30 min wait on hold...listening to the exact same repeating information for 40 mins. I haven't even had my first appointment because they were booked out 6 weeks to see a physicians assistant. Edit: I had my first appointment. Everything went smooth and better than expected. Joslyn was very nice, i like her as my primary care physician going forward.

Before I even start, I wanted to give 0 starts, but can't submit without selecting just 1. Tried this clinic after a friend recommended them. Now, granted they haven't been members at this clinic for a couple years, but clearly things have changed. My wife went in for a walk in after calling ahead to see if she would be seen. After arriving she was then witness to a the receptionists yelling at each other about how they are giving out false information. What worse, they then BEGAN YELLING AT HER for having the audacity to even consider coming in without being a member. She tried to be patient and talk to them, try to understand what was going on, but ended up leaving in tears. Whatever happened to "do no harm"?? I genuinely hope that this deters anyone from ever going to this office. My wife actively avoids going to the doctor for this very reason, and when she feels like she actually needs to go and is concerned about something, this is how she is treated. I cannot fathom what these people were thinking. I can only imagine if a parent is bringing their child in afraid for their child, scared that their healthcare provider isn't accepted somewhere, but feeling like they have no choice, only to meet exactly that. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. Drive the extra couple blocks to the emergency room or other clinics. Do not, under any circumstance, go to this office.

I have been going to SFM for 22 years. There have been some ups and downs, but overall they have done a really great job. They really have things dialed in and work together well as a team. Definitely give them a try...there are lots of doctors available, including the clinic and local testing. They have helped me thru some close calls, and I thank them for it.
