Great food with an ever changing menu. A real gem in the Iowa City area.

Anniversary dinner with friends. Wonderful old wood paneling (original) and high (20ft) ceilings. Food was excellent and served by competent and friendly wait staff. Would highly recommend!

Food was great! Service was great! But you lost our business by charging a credit card convenience fee without notifying us! By the way this was not the case when we ate here less than 20 days ago as I still have that receipt! As a local business owner, my family and I have dined here forever and loved the food and the atmosphere. We spent $500-700 each time we eat here and consider it a gem and a very classy place for Iowa city area! But, this all changed as of 10 minutes ago when I spend $500 on a dinner for my family and saw a CC convenience fee added to our bill! Not classy at all! What you did is illegal in state of Iowa! You need to be transparent with your customers at first, but you are not! Also, when you charged $30-40 for a plate for food in Iowa city, and mark up your bottles of wine 100% or more, we bought two for almost $200, you don’t have the right to give us those fees and deduct it at the end of tax the season! That by any definition is called double dipping! I absolutely will not tolerate businesses like yours. You may call it what you want, but what you’re doing is an attempt to screw your customer base. I hope the cc convenience fee was worth it to you. Because, you have lost my support and are receiving a bad review. This is especially upsetting when one realizes that the restaurant industry benefited from the highest amounts of COVID relief money!

No, our gift cards do not have an expiration date.
There is a concrete wheelchair ramp at the front entrance and both table/chair and booth/bench seating are available on the main dining floor. Parking is available street side nearby with curb cuts at corners, and complimentary valet parking is in the rear but it's below the main floor dining level.
No don't need a reservation but they prefer it. It makes getting a table easier. But like I said, it's not required
We are not open on Christmas Eve but will be on NYE. Let us know if we can Help! Thank you Elias!
They offer free valet parking in the evening, and there is limited parking close by.
