I have been with State Farm for 17 years. I have never had an issue until now. State Farm had to drop my husband off of my policy, which I understood BUT they didn’t renew my policy 4 months after they dropped my husband and gave no notice that I wasn’t insured any longer. I spoke with Joe Ruggiero on Feb 4th of this year, he called to advise that my husband would no longer be insured but he could keep my husbands truck insured. I let him know that there was no need to do that because that is my husbands primary vehicle and I don’t drive that truck. I told him I wasn’t aware that my husband was being dropped and he explained why and he stated that I should’ve received a letter. I told him that I didn’t receive any letter but I understood that my husband could not drive my vehicle. He NEVER said that I had to sign a document because I could’ve drive to their office or maybe had it emailed to me. They relied on the snail mail for such an important document. Fast forward…a rock hit my window last week and I called to see if my insurance covered it. The lady who answered the phone tells me I haven’t been insured since June. I ask her why and she says she’s doesn’t know, there’s no note explaining why. She called me back after she spoke with the underwriter and said it was because I didn’t send back an exclusion letter. I explained to her that I spoke with Joe over the phone on Feb 4th and I don’t recall him saying anything about signing a letter because I would’ve came to the office to sign it. She went on to offend me and say that she can start a new policy but the price would be $332.00 a month (now that’s double the amount of what I was previously paying) I told her there’s no way I was paying that kind of money when I haven’t had any kind of claims in maybe 15 years until recently when an uninsured motorist hit my vehicle. She said she would have Joe call me the next day (he never did). I will be dropping them for my homeowners insurance as well as having my mother drop them. I don’t appreciate not getting a follow up call about this letter (that the lady verified was not sent certified) I don’t appreciate riding in Baltimore city with no insurance (unknowingly). If I never called, I would’ve never known. It’s disgusting how I was treated when I did nothing wrong. My bills were paid on time and in full every month. I went 15 years w/o any accidents. Thank God nothing happened during that time I was uninsured

Coverage options, deductibles, and discounts may affect your policy cost, along with such things as your driving history, credit score (where permitted by law), and other third-party reports.
Market value is the amount a buyer would pay for the home and land in its current condition. It is influenced by factors such as proximity to good schools, local crime statistics, and the availability of similar homes. Replacement cost is the cost to rebuild the entire home.
As long as you have all required information and go through the application process, coverage can begin immediately. For the most accurate quote, you’ll need to know your car’s make, model, mileage, and year. We’ll also need to know a little about you and your driving history.
At State Farm, we take your concerns about online security very seriously so you can pay without worry. We employ industry-standard controls for protecting customer data and keeping the server environment stable.
You can reduce the amount of paper you receive by signing up to go paperless. You can view the Notice of Privacy Policy online instead of receiving a mailed copy. You'll also help State Farm achieve its green mission.
If you're a current State Farm auto policyholder, you can get a quote by following these steps: 1) Log into your account. 2) Select your current auto policy. 3) Click Quote/Replace a Vehicle. The request will be forwarded to your agent for processing.
You can take care of insurance and banking accounts, get roadside assistance, file and check your claim status, and lots more.

The policy includes coverage for your home and other structures on your property such as a detached garage or shed, and your personal belongings. Yes. In addition to your dwelling, State Farm covers other detached structures located on your property that are separated by clear space from the dwelling. If you need a quote or coverage and have more than four vehicles or four drivers, contact a local State Farm Insurance agent.
Please contact a State Farm agent if you're trying to insure a classic automobile or any atypical vehicle-types. Examples include motorcycle, snowmobile, camper, ATV, etc.
You may send your quote to an agent anytime during the quote process. If you haven't completed the online form, an agent will contact you to complete the process. If you received a quote online, you can still purchase with an agent. The agent will contact you to gather any additional information.
The choice is yours, but State Farm recommends you choose a coverage limit at least equal to your home’s estimated replacement cost. (The estimated replacement cost isn’t the same as the market value, which is the price you can expect your home to yield on the market.) If you choose a coverage amount less than the estimated replacement cost, you may not be eligible for certain coverages. Since no one can say what the exact cost will be to replace your home in the future, you’ll need enough coverage to account for unforeseen circumstances.
No. The quote is free. The quote provides an estimate based on the information you provide and contains descriptions of available coverages.

No. A policy number is an alpha-numeric code unique to each individual policy at State Farm. An account number is a 10-digit number associated with a State Farm Payment Plan.
You can save your quote to continue at a later time. When you save your quote you will receive an email containing a link to the application process. If you've received a State Farm reference number, your application has already been submitted. Your agent will be contacting you to discuss your policy. You can wait for your agent to call or contact them to discuss your options. If you did not receive a reference number, your application was not submitted and your payment should not be processed.
