Don't ever use UPS. This is my first time using UPS, and they said "package couldn't be delivered because my name was wrong" when they had my name correctly. They even called me to verify ONLY after I called to find out. No update, no phone call from them until I had to call first. This experience was not pleasant.

Why does a “customer center” not have a published or even easily-reached-by-UPS phone number? Long story short, a previous employer’s retirement company (both of which are the worst I’ve dealt with) sent my retirement rollover check TO FIDELITY (where I wanted to roll it over) care of me, at my virtual mailbox address. I really wish UPS had just asked the address employers, which UPS delivers to, why the envelope was addressed that way. Alas, my several-several-thousand-dollar check sat here at this location for 6 days without anyone notifying me. There’s even a box (which is blank) on my envelope that UPS stuck to it, with a checklist along the lines of “receiver phone number, sender phone number,” etc. I have an account with UPS and have for several years, BTW. I did get in touch with this location via a nice lady at 800-UPS number, and I was told it would be kept for 3 business days. I didn’t trust that, as I was told by 800-UPS that the day I called was the last day to pick it up. The envelope had no indication on it to *not send it back, opposed to what she told me. Good thing I trust my gut and picked up the check, completely inconvenient to me and cutting vacation short.

This is at least the 5th time my package was opened and something was stolen out of it you can clearly see where the old tape was ripped off and new tape added, I filed a report but more importantly I wont do business with ups anymore and If a company only uses ups I'll use a different company
