Thanks for reaching out. Rust often requires a little more effort than just the normal cleaning. When we had rust stains from our Cub Cadet's tire chains, we cleaned it with Soft Scrub cleaner and the blue/green scrubbing side of a kitchen sponge. Some spots required some significant pressure to be applied - it did remove the rust and left no damage. If you require additional assistance, don't hesitate to call us at (888) 577-0452.
Right now (12/1/2017), we ask homeowners to wait about 72 hours until driving on the new coatings. They can walk on the coatings in under 24 hours. Once cured, the hot tires will not effect the coatings - regardless of time of year.
