Randomly closed on a Monday with no notice or reason? Very strange and confusing for sick kids in need especially when our appointment was SCHEDULED for this date. Kept my kid home for the day and took off work thank you for extra stress and poor communication Seattle Childrens, won’t be scheduling follow ups here. Poor management.

0 or negative stars if I could. The calling center was a mess. Arrived 7:30 for PT appointment for my daughter; the receptionist was slow and confused and told me they could not find our information the system and we had to go home. Can’t believe there exists such a health care system under the name of Seattle Children’s.

We drove 5 hours to see a specialist to be seen for 5 minutes and told to come back for an ultrasound to confirm if there is anything wrong with my son. There was no attempt to schedule the exam the same day knowing we live out of town and had the appointment scheduled a month previously.

My daughter had to have a ganglion cyst removed from her wrist, and this facility has been wonderful throughout the entire process. At her first consultation, they advised we continue to watch it and monitor. As it got more painful, I was able to share photos through MyChart as follow-up, and they advised a follow-up appointment. At the follow-up, we discussed surgery. They were very intentional and diligent with the recommended surgery approach, and I appreciated we didn’t immediately jump to surgery. She had surgery today, and the staff was extremely patient, kind, and overall awesome. We had all information needed prior to surgery, and they happily answered any and all questions. My daughter felt so comfortable and supported throughout the entire experience, and appreciated how they made her feel comfortable with blankets and all! It was also clean and I felt safe during this unprecedented time (pandemic). Dr. Steinman and staff are amazing! Thank you!

Yes, three operating rooms, and they're building a fourth.

There is a play room while they or their siblings are waiting. After surgery they go home...
They take all insurances and no insurance. Financial assistance is available.
