Just know in advance that if you tip less than 18% a woman will follow you outside and demand that you owe her more money. First she tried to just tell me I owe her more money, which is a lie that I called her out on, telling her that gratuity means optional and is by no way mandatory by law. She then tried to shake that off by saying she did not speak English. But then she asked me why I didn't give a higher tip and I straight up told her, the service was not welcoming and I also found my food to be bland. I told her I was not obligated to give any tip at all but I did, to which she just rolled her eyes and did not acknowledge what I had told her. It was very clear to me immediately that they do not care about genuine service whatsoever. They believe that your money is their money and they can bully, coerce and manipulate you for it. She walked off after I stood my ground but when she was about 8ft away she turned back just to yell that I was not welcome in her store anymore. I think it was pretty obvious that no one would return after that behavior. Note: I also saw later on in past comments that they have done this to other people too so it seems like they have a pattern going. Honestly, the service was lackluster and my food had basically no flavor, there are many other Korean restaurants that offer better service and food. Edit: so the owner responded and claimed I spent $60 and ordered many dishes, none of which did I buy. So either they are lying (again) or have confused me with someone else completely. I have the charge on my card to prove it, so I have no idea why they feel the need to lie about their customers. In no way have you tried to make it right at all. This customer service is beyond horrid.
