Stood at the register for a couple minutes with no cashier present, all my items on the counter, with three others in line behind me... Then the cashier shows back up with another customer and asks me to remove all my items to take him and make everybody else wait longer... I decided to leave everything there and just go to Walmart instead.

Unlike the DG two minutes from my house in Florida, this DG is staffed by people who seem to care about doing a great job. Excellent hospitality and friendly, the employees were quite efficient. The people who work at my home store are outside smoking about half of the time and hiding somewhere about half of the other half. It, no exaggeration, takes 15 minutes to get out of the joint with 2-3 other cars in the lot. Clean store, friendly folks, two registers open at once. Maybe my local store is atypical and most DGs don't suck like it does.

This place is a very good place it has very good things with very good prices with the very good things I want to buy and I really appreciate the fact that they think about the things you want to buy whenever they have discounts on these things I love this place so much and the friendly people in there are nice and the lady who checked me out was really cool because she commented on how she also liked little Debbie cakes because we bought a bunch of those and she was not loud and rude when she said that my card was declined and she was helpful and I liked the color of her nails and good job dollar general you will always be better than family Dollar in my heart and soul
