Very rude and unprofessional. You have to stay outside when you check in or when you have to go down to front desk for literally anything. I checked in and gave her my name, she said very rudely and loudly “NAME” so I gave my name again. I had reserved a smoking room but she gave us a non smoking room which costed more money. She wouldn’t even give us the keys, she said she had to go check for towels and stuff but why would you need to do that if your housekeepers do their jobs? (I’m in houskeeeping). There was a cockroach on the chair in our room, we were in room 203. My boyfriend went to ask her a question and she literally yelled “STAY AWAY” and put her mask back over her face. I get it with COVID and everything but seriously?!?! Why so rude? The same girl was there when we checked out the next morning and she was still very rude and unprofessional. The rooms are out of date, the AC or heat take forever to even reach the bed, the tv hardly worked with the signal, beds are very hard, floors are squeaky, bathroom was nasty and the tub felt like it was about to fall through, hardly any hot water at all, the fridge didn’t keep anything cold so we had to throw away all of our food. This stay was the night of June 25th 2022, and we checked out the morning of June 26th 2022.

When the Microtel was boarded up last year and Wyndham refused to honor my reservation at another of their properties without demanding 4 times more money, this place was a saving grace. A unique location with quite an amazing view of their own on the outside, a little outdated but quaint inside. Never understood the other review issues. Most complained of no TV channels, but a quick "auto-program" found all of them. Bathroom in the room provided was good sized. Heat and air worked well. Never saw any bugs. Internet worked. Only complaint I had during 4 days stay was the very very limited number of outlets. I think I only found 2, so the lamp remained unplugged when my phone needed charging.

The view is awesome. With that being said we stayed here 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 children. I really wanted to give it more stars. The motel was very clean, had a great view for the mountain top, didn't see any bugs. Was very pleased the first night. The second night I was not happy at all. A storm came through during the day and messed up the outlets on one wall. That happen to be the wall that the t.v and heater was on. They assured us that when we returned for our Polar Express ride that everything would be fixed, it wasn't. They offered us a portable heater which I declined because of the 2 smaller children. They never offered to move us to a room where the heat was working. We woke up cold and hurried out when morning came.

Positive: This older motel was newly painted and extremely clean. The setting was safe and quiet with nice views. The pool and grounds very well maintained. The owners and staff were very nice and were taking Covid-19 measures seriously. Great stay at a good price.
