I’ve been in here a few times over the last 6 months. You can find some good deals on decent looking items but it mostly feels like a lower end thrift store. The staff is pretty unfriendly. The selling process is very subjective. Some staff will accept certain items and others will reject the same items. And the prices they offer are super low. I feel better donating my gently used items to women in need.

I have been to Style Encore both as a buyer and a seller. I can confirm, without a doubt, they do not like doing business with people of color. I have brought in brand new items with tags on them and they repeatedly say, "due to the wear and tear". The last straw was when one of the employers, Jen I believe, even went as far as suggesting that the designer item I was bringing in was fake. I told her it was insulting and to choose her words wisely next time. From now on, I am taking my dollars elsewhere where I am respected as a shopper and where my services are respected.

I really feel that the clothes we took were not that worn as they claimed. I saw some on the racks that weren't that nice. The clothes we took were in good condition. They only took 1 pair of shoes and 1 dress and it did not equal up to even $10.00. It is a nice store, but l would not recommend it for selling your clothes.

Total waste of time selling there. They took 10 items and gave me $22.50. From now on Good Will will get my items before that store does. At Good Will you are donating to allow people to buy those same items for a few dollars rather than this store marking it up much higher. This store wouldn’t even take my Hollister hoodie worn 2x and looked brand new or American Eagle jeans in great condition. The lady told me they don’t buy Hollister and I should take those items to Plato’s Closet. So basically saying those items are not good enough for their store. She also told me some items looked worn which was not true bc I know how picky this store is and wouldn’t have brought worn items to them. Done with them!
