My husband purchased two gift certificates for me. I used the on-line booking tool to book a massage on the Sunday of a holiday weekend. While there was a statement somewhere on her site that she does not accept gift certificates for holiday weekends, I did not see it when I booked the massage, and the booking tool did not decline my gift certificate as a method of payment. When she notified me via email that she would not accept the gift certificate on the holiday weekend, I asked for a refund. She tried to get me to book another date but I could not find a time on her schedule that worked with mine. Without apology or any consideration for the customer, she said she does not refund gift certificates. It is definitely not about the customer here. She ends up with the cash, two very disappointed customers and a bad review. You can be certain we will not only rip up the gift certificates we will certainly tell everyone we know about the experience.

I purchased a Groupon for my fiance in August for a 60-minite massage. She has been attempting to schedule since August. Someone named Karen finally responded stating they usually do not honor Groupons, but will make an exception and scheduled her for December 1st at 11am. (It is important to note that this business is still listed on Groupon offering the same packages that Karen is stating they do not honor. ) My fiance showed up to the 11am appointment, and no one answered the door or responded to calls. She took off from work for this appointment. This is beyond unprofessional, and in spite of the great reviews we will never utilize this merchant again. Karen should have said no to the Groupon, and we would have resolved the issue with Groupon, instead of my fiancee taking off from work with the expectation of getting a masaage. Also, the business needs to remove the promotion from Groupon if they are not honoring the vouchers. This is a pandemic, and we were trying to support local small businesses. Never again for this one. I have picture text message conversation to prove this. What business person lies about scheduling an appointment, and does not even show up?

It depends on the type of massage you get, but it was totally worth it when I went.
