I waited in line for 1 hr. Prior to waiting I asked if they were doing fingerprints I was told yes. I get to the front window and the woman tells me to have a seat. I waited longer just to be told they are not doing fingerprints. It’s the lack of respect of peoples time and disregard.I’m in public service also. It’s a shame that people are only working for a paycheck. Go else where. DC or Virginia

If you get the forms from the post office fill them out and give them to the post office with your birth certificate. They will mail it out and within a few weeks I had my passport and my birth certificate back
Google the exact postal service you want and look for their fax number or call them and tell them that you are sending some paperwork through so it doesn't get over looked
Yes, you need an appointment. I do suggest that you have one so you know an employee that can process you will be on site. Not every employee processes passports.

They have a copy machine, but it is only for employee use. You can not have copies made at this post office.
No, not usually, unless there is a heavy mail load, like around the holidays, or if they are just seriously backed-up. Don't expect delivery on Sundays.
I think you should go to the Post Office to get the best answer for this question. They may be able to track this based on when and where you sent the package.
