Very high drink prices and no food

We stopped in for what was supposed to be a drink while we decided on dinner. Turned out it was happy hour and all the food was half off so it became dinner. That was a fantastic decision. I had the fish and chips and a beer. The beer was cold and crisp, as it better be in a place like this. The fish was good, the breading was a little thick, but the fish inside was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And the waffle fries were the best d**n fries I've had in my life. Fluffy potato, seasoned and crispy outside. So good. I didn't think I could finish the huge portion, but they were so good that I couldn't stop. The cole slaw was also good, but kind of a small portion compared to the rest of the meal. Service was attentive but in no way pushy. Friendly waiters and bartenders that help you out but let you make the call. If you're in National Harbor, you have to make a stop.
