As a visitor with a child, I was completely disappointed when I was told by the rude information desk worker that kids are not only not welcome, but are NOT ALLOWED! (Im not going to leave my child here) But it gets better.. my brother came out to meet me, so he offered to stay with my baby while I visit, then she proceeds to tell us that he canβt stay inside, and we are talking about lobby full of the chairs. How dumb! π€¦ββοΈ (She shaved half of her head must have shaved some of her brains off) π€

The staff has been Wonderful!!! The nurses have taken such wonderful care of my Mom. She went from ICU into hospice in the hospital. The Doctors are so informative and have been so patient answering our numerous questions. The Compassion myself and my family has been shown is incredible. Thank you Good Samaritan Staff you've gone above and beyond to care for my Mom.

Our precious family member was brought in tonight by ambulance because he was having heart trouble. After examination the doctors told him there was nothing more they could do and to get his affairs in order. Family from out of state was on their way because that's what families do. Good Samaritan hospital staff instructed us that only one visitor per day was allowed. We were told it was up to the charge nurse to make exceptions. His wife of over 60 years and his kids and grandkids were not allowed to be with him as he died. This is unacceptable and unforgivable

Arrived in early labor and the ER staff was pretty dismissive. Triage nurse told us we could either have a male doctor which I was vehemently against or we could go home even though I was in active labor. Ended up grudgingly having the male triage doctor because they refused to call literally anybody else in the hospital. They were that IDGAF about it. Forced me to give birth with no back support just hanging onto my legs. Even with en epidural it was very hard and miserably uncomfortable. After birth they repeatedly broke her latch to flip her into another nursing position. Forcing her mouth open when she started refusing to latch. Never could get her to latch again. Baby didnβt eat for 12 hours forcing us to stay a second night. Nurse huffed at us when we asked for formula. Same nurse shoved paperwork in our faces after just getting into our recovery room. Talked down to us about using a light and remote like we were too stupid to figure it out. As a first time parent it was a horribly stressful and traumatic experience. I wonβt go back if you freaking PAY me to!! One nurse even came in a ripped my gown open without even a single word. ππ»π€¬ππ»

Up until 10 i believe
Amber, I am sorry about your experience you had here. I worked here as a Volunteer for 6 months when I was trying to get my 100 hours in. I can honestly say, I was very impressed at the kind and professional, outstanding service the staff, nurses, and doctors would give to their patients as well as how nice they treated their fellow employees. Amber, why not give these awesome staff, nurses, and doctors over here another chance? Everyone here at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital TRULY DOES care about their patients - I can promise you that!! If one of my family members or siblings was needing immediate surgery, or urgent care - I would not go anywhere else, but here to MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital. That's the honest truth.
You could ask social services
Good luck, unless you have poa, or he is with you and gives written consent. It a privacy law. The hospital has no control over it.
Yes
Whenever yuu need it
Probably just a survey from your last visit!
I believe the current policy is 2
Yes. ER patients can have visitors 24/7. Inpatient floors allow visitors 8 am to 8 pm. Just call before going. Other restrictions apply
They are allowing one visitor per day right now. You have to come through the main entrance, they screen your temperature, make sure you're wearing a mask, and the usual things but no more than one visitor per day.
You pop in and one pops out

They are located pretty much anywhere. A lot of the charging stations are located in the patient waiting areas. If you need help locating a charging station, feel free to ask one of the friendly staff or nurses here. I worked here as a Volunteer for 6 months to get my 100 hours in a while back, and the staff and nurses here are very nice and helpful!!
Yes, they do.
Outside the main entrance in the parking garage. You start at the top and go down. Also several lots all around the block.
Yes
Yes they did that for me June 2018
No
Yes. TG and Good Sam, depending on safety concerns for the mother.
It depends on acuity. Of course heart attacks, strokes, and other life saving illnesses are first. If you have a bad stomach ache, you may wait 8 hours.
Thank our litigious society and skyrocketing education costs. Costs too much to become a doctor and malpractice insurance makes it too costly to be a doctor. Add to that our growing lean to socialized healthcare and it pays too little to be a doctor.
11am to 830pm ICU different limited hours
Yes
Im going to go ahead and assume no . Their staff is negligent and the wait times are horrid .
Most the time it depends on the dr. If they suspect drug seeking or not. For sure they will give you a antibiotic. Sometimes they will do a block and tell you the ibuprofen. Comfort dental is reasonable for dental care
